The merchant John Ogilvie bought the realty "Börsenstraße 9" for the price of 1000 Thaler in 1805. He owned it for ten years and built a solid residential building at this time there.

The next owner of this realty Rebekka Kallmann purchased in 1819 a 102 "Quadrat-Ruthen" large garden part of the neighbor property Börsenstraße 8 at the considerable price of 3166 Thaler as well as the warehouse realty Polangenstraße 4 to enlarge her estate with them.
In 1846 Joseph Ludwig Hirsch became the owner of the realty as well as the company "Kallman and Co. - Speditions= und Commissionsgeschäft". Julius Albert who later led that business as the "Commerzienrath Julius Albert" became participant of it.
In 1878 Commerzienrath Hernry Frentzel Beyme purchased the estate for 45000 Mk. and extended it. (see previous page).
Because of its size and privileged location the district assembly on January 7th, 1893 decided to purchase the estate for the price of 60 000 Mk and to build the new "Kreishaus" at the Polangenstraße.
